"This film offers the journey of a boy chasing dreams, overcoming odds, and holding tight to what matters most family," the makers of Solo Boy wrote, sharing the trailer of their movie. Set to be released in theatres on July 4, the film stars Gautham Krishna, Shweta Avasthi and Ramya Pasupuleti in leading roles. Posani Krishna Murali, Anitha Chowdhary, Arun kumar, Dr. Bhadram, Shafi, and RK Mama have other roles.
Gautham Krishna said that he had taken a eight-month sabbatical (before he debuted on Bigg Boss Telugu) to reinvent himself. "I used to observe people from morning to night during that phase. I discovered that human emotions are common to all people, whether they are rich or poor. Everyone needs love, respect and recognition. Solo Boy came out of that discovery," Gautham Krishna said.
"I am not the hero of this movie. Solo Boy is content-driven. I take no credit. This film has the calibre to turn a small artist into a big name," the actor said. He urged middle-class audience members to share the trailer to fifty of their contacts. "Many ingredients in this movie are relatable. At the same time, the movie is fun to watch," Krishna said.
The team felt that small films like Solo Boy need the support of the media. "I urge the media not to review our movie during the first weekend. Big-ticket films have star power backing them. Their promotions are huge. But small films don't have these advantages. If a small film has no substance, nobody would watch it from the first Monday," a speaker said, promising a rich theatrical experience.
'Seven Hills' Satish of Seven Hills Productions is bringing out Solo Boy. The film releases on July 4.
