Dhanush's Kuberaa will hit the cinemas on June 20. The run-time of the Sekhar Kammula directorial has been a matter of speculation lately.
The version sent to the censor board was 3 hours 15 minutes long. The feedback was that it was too lengthy. Kammula was shocked to listen to unfavorable feedback.
In recent times, only Animal and Pushpa 2 had the gumption to opt for long run-times. Faced with mixed to negative observations, Kammula has since decided to chop off 20 minutes of the film.
So, the final run-time is going to be 5 minutes shy of 3 hours.
Kuberaa, from which just two songs have been released so far, also features Jim Sarbh, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. The Kammula directorial has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Two more songs are scheduled for release in the coming days.
The trailer of Kuberaa is expected to be out on June 13.
