Director Maruthi, speaking at the pre-release event of 3 Roses Season 2, stated that the core idea behind it came about during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was Allu Aravind who got SKN on board. The first season was a big hit and the second season will make its debut on Aha on December 13th.
Speaking at the event, The Raja Saab director described producer SKN as one of the heroes of the series. He said that director Kiran and writer Sandeep Bolla have a great future in the industry. Maruthi and SKN iterated their commitment to encouraging local talent. "Encouraging local talent means giving them a strong platform. We’re happy so many actresses came to support us," Maruthi said. SKN later said that he will continue to introduce/back Telugu-speaking female actors year after year.
SKN said that 3 Roses Season 3 will be made as a film. This goes to show how confident the team of the web series is. "Director Kiran will be working with us regularly; he is currently directing Chennai Love Story (starring Kiran Abbavaram in the lead). I will also launch writer Sandeep as a director and produce a film with him," the producer of Baby fame added.
Actress Eesha Rebba described 3 Roses as a female-led series. She urged the audience to watch Season 1 before stepping into the world of the second season. About her co-stars and their characters in the series, here is what she said: "Raashi Singh and Kushita Kallapu acted with me as the other Roses - don’t think roses are delicate; they have thorns too."
Actress Kushita suggested that Season 2 will be worthy of being converted into insightful memes. Its content, she added, is better than that of Season 1.
Actress Raashi Singh added that the series had come out very well and that shooting had felt like a picnic. She mentioned that writer Sandeep had helped her a lot in understanding Telugu dialogues. She stated that SKN meant viral content, adding that that was the reputation he had. She further mentioned that Kiran had given her complete freedom for her character.
Director Kiran K described SKN as the director's delight. He also praised Aha for platforming new directors. Watching the first season of 3 Roses before going for Season 2 is not a must, he implied. "Season 2 is something you can enjoy even alone on your mobile or TV," the filmmaker added.
Aha CEO Ravikanth stated that this year Aha had delivered exciting content, mentioning titles such as Telugu Indian Idol Season 4, Chef Mantra, Chiranjeevi, K-Ramp, and several successful movies, shows, and web series. He added that 3 Roses Season 2 was like the cherry on top for them this holiday season, and expressed the hope that the audience would enjoy the season.
Writer Sandeep Bolla commended SKN for clearly understanding which content should reach which audience segment. He also acknowledged Maruthi's support despite working on a big movie like The Raja Saab.
Guest and actress Samyuktha said that if a web series was getting a sequel, that meant the first season was a hit. The star heroine further stated that a good platform was needed for such quality content, and Aha had provided that. "The whole series is full of fun. My best wishes to the lead actresses," she added.
