The other day, the makers of Peddi hyped up the film's introduction song. Director Buchi Babu Sana took to social media to state that AR Rahman's music and Ram Charan's steps will be a treat. Featuring 1000 dancers, this song is being shot in Mysore.
Just two days later, a close aide of Allu Arjun hyped up a song from the Atlee directorial. "Goosebumps on set!! The crew couldn’t stop clapping after a mind-blowing dance sequence by Icon Star," he wrote, adding that the song will be 'vere level'.
Peddi and AA22 seem to be competing for media attention, though this rivalry might be unintentional. Their actions, whether deliberate or not, often keep them in the news.
Peddi will hit the cinemas on March 27, 2026. The film's music is by AR Rahman. AA22 might head to theatres only in March 2027. The scale of the latter is way bigger than that of Peddi. Budget wise, Allu Arjun's movie is playing a different game altogether, given it will be an international release. Peddi is a rooted, grounded story from the Telugu land, aiming to woo the pan-Indian audience.
