Mothevari Love Story, a heartfelt comedy drama deeply rooted in the Telangana region and culture, will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 from August 8. Featuring Anil Geela and Varshini Reddy Junnuthula in the lead roles, it is directed by Shiva Krishna Burra. Produced by My Village Show Movies and Madhura Entertainment, Mothevari Love Story is a web series running into seven episodes.
Speaking at the pre-release event of the series, Kandakatla Sidhu said that the visuals are truly spectacular. "Charan Arjun's songs and BGM are amazing. The Village Show Movies team, which started their journey with a smartphone, has now reached this point," he added.
Madhura Sreedhar said that ZEE5 has been working hard to bring rooted stories to its patrons. He praised the performances by the lead pair. "Charan Arjun has provided great music, songs, and RR (re-recording). Sreekanth Arupula's visuals are wonderful," he added.
Aneel Geela said, "The ZEE5 team is satisfied with the output we delivered for the budget we had. We all worked as a team to make our dream a reality. Director Shiva Krishna Burra didn't miss a single small detail. This is the first project for all of us. Charan Anna brought the project to life with his music; many people cried because of his re-recording. Hari Priya's costumes were excellent. I hope the media supports newcomers like us. Our series is something the whole family, from children to adults, can happily watch together. Our series is coming to ZEE5 on August 8."
Music director Charan Arjun said that Madhura Sreedhar was the reason his first ever album came out. "He always brings out raw talent. I watched the movie Vimanam with the ZEE5 team. I joined this series wanting to be a weapon for heroes who fight for victory. The pairing of Aneel and Varshini has impressed everyone. The visuals and my song have finally come together," he added.
Cinematographer Sreekanth Arupula said, "We worked with a determination to succeed no matter what. Thanks to Madhura Sreedhar and the ZEE5 team for giving us this opportunity. Thanks to everyone who worked on our series. Charan Arjun's songs and re-recording brought tears to my eyes. Our Aneel will become an even bigger hero."
ZEE5 Telugu Content Head Deshraj Sai Tej said that every village has a strong-willed person. "We wanted to tell stories from remote villages. When we thought about telling a rooted story from Telangana, Aneel Geela came to mind. The story Aneel and Shiva narrated was very relatable. The ZEE5 team plans to release new stories like this every month. Shiva has crafted a wonderful series. Charan Arjun's music is great. Sreedhar garu supported and guided us throughout.
