Mirai has finally hit the Rs 100 Cr (Gross Box Office collections) mark in just five days, averaging Rs 20 Cr a day. The film's huge worldwide gross came on the back of its very good performance in Hindi and a soaring pull in the US.
In North America, the fantasy adventure drama stormed past $2 million in Gross terms. The Hindi version of Mirai, at the Indian box office, registered a "solid 41.67% growth on Tuesday over Monday, aided by discounted ticket pricing". So far, the Nett. BO collections of Mirai's Hindi version in India stands at Rs 12 Cr.
Reacting to the humongous feat, Teja Sajja wrote, "Arrived here again. This is possible only because of all of you. Grateful."
At the film's success celebration event on Tuesday, a distributor stated that Mirai has reached even C centre audiences. The family audience have been flocking theatres in huge numbers everywhere. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad has announced luxurious cars as gifts to director Karthik Ghattamneni and Teja Sajja.
