Malayalam star Tovino Thomas is set to make his Telugu debut in the Jr NTR-Prashanth Neel collaboration, titled Dragon. This pan-India film is slated for a January 9, 2026 release, and marks a colossal step in Thomas's diverse filmography.
In 2025, Thomas has already had notable releases such as the crime thriller Identity, and the political action thriller Narivetta, where he played CPO Varghese Peter. He was seen in L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Mohanlal's Lucifer. Looking back at 2024, his prominent roles included Anweshippin Kandethum and Nadikar. His performance in films like Minnal Murali (2021) and 2018 (2023) are acclaimed.
Coming back to Dragon, the film is currently in the production stage.
