The 100 is headlined by RK Sagar. It co-stars Misha Narang, Dhanya Balakrishna, Anand, and Kalyani Natarajan. The cop thriller is produced by Ramesh Karutoori, Venki Pushadapu, and J Tharak Ram. The 100 has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and is shot by cinematographer Shyam K Naidu. Edited by Amar Reddy Kudumula, its Production Design is by Chinna. Vijay Dragon Prakash has composed the stunts.
The 100 is touted to be an emotional action thriller and it is slated to hit the cinemas on July 11th. Its pre-release event was held on Sunday.
In his speech, RK Sagar mentioned all the dignitaries who have endorsed The 100. He particularly thanked Pawan Kalyan. "I have always had a strong bond with Sridhar anna. His heart beats for the welfare of the public. He is like my elder brother. Venkat Reddy anna is a pure-hearted person. The journey of The 100 started because of the bonds we have among the core team. Our director Raghav Omkar Sasidhar is extremely passionate. He will go a long way. The fights, the music, the cinematography and other elements are extraordinary. I sincerely thank all the technicians on this occasion. Dhanya Balakrishnan is a disciplined artist. It was great working with Misha Narang. My wife Soundarya has always supported me. She has been very cooperative. In every Yuga, a weapon arrives. Rama Banam, Sudarshana Chakra and now The 100... I am using such words because the movie is that powerful. I would say that The 100 is a must-watch, not because I am its hero, but because it is an emotional family drama. The common audience who got to watch our movie early were moved to tears. When you watch this movie, it will haunt you for long! I need your blessings," RK Sagar said.
IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu described Sagar as his younger brother. "Through The 100, director Sasidhar has rendered a powerful message with the help of effective performances. Sagar is self-made. Mogali Rekulu made him a star. He has made it this far in life because he has the fire in his belly. Sagar's acting talent should take him to Bollywood and even Hollywood. The 100 alludes to IPC Section 100, which deals with the right to private defence. At the same time, the film deals with the consequences of cyber crimes. The 100 tries to guide the audience. Its social message and its family-friendly story make it a worthy film," the Minister added.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy appreciated the producers of The 100 for making the film with "the right message". He added that he would be watching the movie on day one. "I will watch the evening show on July 11. At a time when cyber crimes are on the surge, The 100 has been made with the right message. Recently, a retired banker lost Rs 5 Cr to a cyber crime. RK Sagar is a familiar face across the Telugu States. He is a self-made actor who will go a long way. He will emerge as the best hero. I am confident that The 100 will win the Best Feature Film Gaddar Award. I won't recommend it to the jury, but the film has that potential is what I am saying. Former VP of India, Venkaiah Naidu garu, has appreciated The 100," the Minister said.
Director Sasidhar said, "Every film has a destiny. The 100 has been blessed by many important people. When I was researching for the script of The 100, Sagar garu gave me a call. When I narrated the storyline, he was excited. He blended a real-life cop story with my story. Sagar garu is the reason I am here today. I interacted with several IPS officers while writing the script. The film is not preachy. It is gripping till the end. The 100 earned recognition at 15 international awards events.
