IVY Entertainment Drags 'The Raja Saab' Producers to Court

IVY Entertainment, an international media and entertainment company that is involved in film financing, has reportedly dragged the makers of The Raja Saab to court. It has filed a legal petition in the Delhi High Court against People Media Factory, the primary production house behind the Prabhas-Maruthi film.

The dispute centers on financial and contractual disagreements related to the film's production. IVY Entertainment alleges that PMF failed to honor certain financial commitments and production agreements, prompting IVY to seek legal recourse to protect their interests and ensure transparency in the project's handling.

In early 2023, IVY Entertainment financed The Raja Saab by investing Rs 218 Cr. It wanted the horror-fantasy film to be released by so-and-so date. Multiple delays have allegedly caused losses for the company. If the finance is not returned with an 18% interest, IVY will probably get to own The Raja Saab.

With music by Thaman, The Raja Saab will arrive at the cinemas either on 5 December 2025 or for Sankranthi 2026.
