Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘26/11 India Pi Daadi’ trailer was launched at Prasad Labs Preview Theater in Hyderabad. A Ramesh Prasad released the teaser on Saturday morning in Hyderabad. Musical scores are being provided by Amar Mohlle. N Kanta Rao will present the film under Indus Inspirations banner.
Later addressing the gathering A Ramesh Prasad said, “This is exactly not a movie but beyond the movie. Many things will inspire us if we clearly understand the film. This film showcases why the 26/11 incident has occurred and the reasons behind it. This movie has taken the responsibility of educating the people of how we can eradicate such incidents if we take the needed security. Few films will reflect our lives. Varma did this film courageously. One should appreciate Kanta Rao’s efforts.”
K Kanta Rao, who’s presenting the film in Telugu said, “This is not a sensational film. We just tried to bring awareness among the public about the truth. Varma researched a lot before crafting this film. The movie is sure to impress the audience. I travelled with Varma right from the day of film launch. The ecenes in this film would easily connect every Indian.”
In the function Ram Gopal Varma’s recorded speech was played. He said, “Everyone is aware of 26/11 attacks. We tried to capture the emotions of the people there. On the day of the incident city commissioner Rakesh Maria went home early as he had no work. While relaxing in his living room, he got three phone calls at one time. It seems that he understood that something went wrong. A nine year old girl saw when Kasab will killing few persons. Under what situation Kasab did it and what is the main reason behind the terror attacks is what we have shown in our film in a realistic manner.”
