Major stars remain silent on Teja Sajja, but audience don't care

No star support has come in for Mirai despite the film making waves at the box office. Having grossed nearly Rs 115 Cr since its release on September 12, it is one of the biggest surprises in recent years.

The superstars of Telugu cinema haven't congratulated the movie's hero, Teja Sajja. No appreciation has poured in for People Media Factory's passion. No commendation has been handed over to director Karthik Ghattamneni.

A theory is that Teja Sajja is not a star kid and that's why no big star has reviewed Mirai so far. Narratives like this one are a burden on the HanuMan actor, to be honest. They provoke trolls, especially the fan bases of some big stars, to train their guns on him.

Mirai not receiving unconditional appreciation from celebrities because Teja Sajja allegedly makes them insecure, has no bearing on how the audience are seeing the actor. For them, Teja Sajja is carving a path of his own in the Tier-2 segment. He must continue to do event movies like Mirai 2, Zombie Reddy 2 and Jai Hanuman. The day he acts in run-of-the-mill crime dramas or love stories, he might see a sudden drop in his aura.
