Mohanlal's Vrusshabha is an "epic saga of relationships, revenge, and redemption". Today's Teaser has been cut cleverly to establish the film as a big-scale, visually extravagant epic action drama.

"The wait ends — the roar begins! Mohanlal stuns as a warrior king in the much-awaited Vrusshabha teaser, packed with action and intensity," the makers wrote, sharing the teaser.

Talking about the movie, director Nanda Kishore says that the idea is to give the global audience a memorable cinematic experience. "With Mohanlal playing a king for the very first time in a bilingual epic, Vrusshabha is a film that promises to stay with you long after you leave the theatre," he adds.

The teaser begins with visuals of a woman undergoing labour pains. She gives birth to a future warrior who goes on to attain a legendary status, for when destiny beckons, "blood must give the answer".

Vrusshabha is a high-class pan-Indian film shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. It will be dubbed into Hindi and Kannada.

Sam CS of Kaithi and the recent Mahavatar Narsimha fame is the music director. The direction of photography is taken care of by Antony Samson. Resul Pookutty and Vijay Kumar have taken care of sound design.

Nanditha Singh and Mohan B. Kere have done the production design, ostensibly inspired by the ambition of the Baahubali movies. With Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, and Nikhil mounting the action scenes, expect force in each shot.

Presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with Abishek S Vyas Studios, the tentpole spectacle is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S. Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.

Vrusshabha will head to theatres for Diwali. The precise release date is yet to be announced.
