Recently, the promo of Spirit described Prabhas as India's biggest superstar. Following its release, the fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan disputed the claim strongly. For days on end, social media was abuzz with 'Prabhas vs. SRK' discussions.
On Saturday evening, the promo of the first song from The Raja Saab describes Prabhas as India's No. 1. The text accompanying the promo calls him "Pan India No. 1".
It's possible that there is a deliberate pattern. Director Maruthi and even Prabhas might be asked about this during promotions, if the latter gives interviews at all.
The Raja Saab is produced by People Media Factory. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on 9 January 2026.
