Annapurna Thalli Buvamma has officially wrapped up production, with the cast and crew celebrating the completion of shooting at a special event. The film tells the inspiring life story of Dokka Seethamma, an unsung hero known for her selfless dedication to feeding the hungry.
The event was attended by the former Minister of Energy of Andhra Pradesh, Balineni Srinivas Reddy. He was joined by Radhikapati Das Prabhu and Sai Vijayender Singh. Srinivas Reddy praised the filmmakers for bringing Seethamma's story to the screen, acknowledging that her noble deeds were recently brought to light by actor-politician Pawan Kalyan. "Seethamma dedicated her life to feeding those in need, and making a film on such an inspiring figure is commendable. Inspired by Pawan Kalyan, I will also initiate an annadanam program in Ongole in her name," he added, also felicitating the cast and crew with shields. Saketh Vegi and Arya Sai Krishna are the music director and cinematographer, respectively.
The film stars Shivika as Dokka Seethamma and Samudra as her husband. Shivika expressed her gratitude for making her debut with such a powerful role, while Samudra called his involvement a "lifetime achievement." The film also features Kusuma, Supriya, Naveen Matta, Rohil, Adil, and Rupesh in key roles.
Directed by Suresh Lankalapalli, the film is produced by Siraj and Khader Gori under the banners of Gori Brothers Media and Black & White Movie Mark.
