National Awards: Pawan Kalyan extends congratulations to winners

"It is a joyous occasion that the Telugu film industry has received several awards at the 71st National Film Awards. We are delighted that 'Bhagavanth Kesari', starring my brother and Hindupur MLA, Shri Nandamuri Balakrishna, has been selected as the Best Telugu Film. Congratulations to the film's director, Shri Anil Ravipudi, and producers, Shri Sahu Garapati and Shri Harish Peddi," actor-politician Pawan Kalyan said in a statement on Friday.

"The film 'Hanu-Man' won the award in animation and action categories. Congratulations to the film's director, Shri Prasanth Varma, the VFX experts, and the producer," the Jana Sena chief added.

He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to Neelam Sai Rajesh for being selected as the Best Screenplay Writer (for the film 'Baby'), Kasarla Shyam for Best Lyricist (for 'Balagam'), P.V.N.S. Rohit for Best Male Playback Singer (for 'Baby'), Nandu Prithvi for Best Stunt Choreographer (for 'Hanu-Man'), and Sukrutiveni Bandreddy for Best Child Artist (for 'Gandhi Thatha Chettu'). "These awards will bring new enthusiasm to the film industry," he added.

Finally, Pawan Kalyan also congratulated Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey for Best Actor wins, Rani Mukerji for Best Actress win, and Sudipto Sen for Best Director win.
