The Hanuman Chalisa, a 40-verse hymn in Awadhi, is a devotional composition dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Authored by the 16th-century poet-saint Tulsidas, it is a timeless and widely revered prayer that extols the virtues, strength, and unwavering devotion of Hanuman.

Tollywood music director and singer R.P. Patnaik has released his rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa, an endeavor blessed by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. The launch event was held at the Hanuman Temple in McKinney, Texas, which is the largest Hanuman temple in the United States, situated within the Dallas metropolitan area.

A key feature of Patnaik’s rendition is its multilingual accessibility in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English. This unique approach allows devotees from diverse linguistic backgrounds to follow the verses and engage in a more profound spiritual experience.

Reflecting on the creative process, R.P. Patnaik shared, “Singing and composing the Hanuman Chalisa was a divine journey. The energy of Hanuman is immeasurable, and listening to this rendition will surely bring a powerful spiritual experience.” Executive producer Raghuram Bolisetti highlighted the project's goal of making the Chalisa immersive and accessible to a global audience.

Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji offered his blessings, expressing his belief that this particular version will deeply resonate with the youth, drawing them closer to their spiritual roots. Devotees can now access Patnaik’s rendition on his official YouTube channel.

Patnaik began his career in the late 1990s and gained widespread recognition for his musical scores in films like Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam, and Sreeram. His compositions are often praised for their melody and energy. He later ventured into film direction with projects such as Andamaina Manasulo and Tulasidalam.
