Varna Audio Release (Set 6)

PVP Cinema’s ‘Varna’ with Anushka and Arya as lead pair is Selvaraghavan’s prestigious directorial venture. Param V Potluri is producing this graphical extravaganza with music by Harris Jayraj. The grand audio launch of this film was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Sunday. Industrialist Raghuram Raj released the audio CDs and presented the first copy of it to director Selvaraghavan.

Addressing the gathering Selvaraghavan said, “It’s difficult to speak in the presence of Anushka. I would like to thank Prasad garu because nothing would have been possible without him. Many have opined that we can do this story as a cartoon and not as a movie. But Prasad made my dream come true. So the entire credit goes to him.”

Speaking further he called Anushka as jhis sister and praised her for taking extra care. “Thanks to my fans for their love and affection, even though I visit once in a while,” he said and urged the people not to compare Indian films with that of Hollywood and not to let down our Indian films by praising Hollywood films. “Watch our films and feel proud. We have Rajamouli and many such great directors. We are sure to make greater films than ‘Avtaar’ in another 10-15 years from now. So stop praising Hollywood.”

Producer Prasad V Potluri said, “Thousand mile journey starts with a single step. ‘Varna’ is a good beginning. The movie industry and the government runs only with the ticket purchased by fans. It’s the responsibility of every director and producer to entertain the audience. The entire credit of this film belongs to Selva, Arya and Anushka. It’s not possible to show the colorful world of ‘Varna’ without them. We have toured the entire world in these two years. They have stopped all other projects and concentrated only on this. I thank them on behalf of my banner.”

Chandra Bose said, “I’m very happy for being part of this film. I feel honored to work in the combination of Harris Jayraj and Selvaraghavan. Selvaraghavan made write that both love and death are same in the song “Oke Kavyam, Oke Chitram, Oke Shilpam, Oke Prayanam….’.”

Harris Jayraj said, “My sincere thanks to all. It’s my previledge to associate to the film. Thanks to Chandra Bose and team. Arya and Anushka have brought special color to my songs. Anirudh rendered background score.”

Anushka said, “Everyone spoke about me well. I was able to be part of one such grand film only because my directors and producers right from my first film under Annapurna Studio banner have believed me and offered wonderful roles till date. PVP and Selvaraghavan are the real persons behind this movie. I feel proud to be part of a good film not as an actress but as an human being. Selvaraghavan is a wonderful director. Many of you might don’t know that he is a good actor too. Cameraman Ramji is the biggest asset to the film. Harris garu rendered excellent music. I heard the ruff CDs for about 50-60 times even before the release of Tamil audio. The entire team worked as one family. Selvaraghavan’s wife Geetanjali took care of us very well even though a baby was born to them. Thanks to the original version ‘Irandaam Ulagam’ team. ‘Varna’ is a love story. A different film which was not seen before. So everyone will enjoy it. I held several swords in ‘Varna’, ‘Rudramadevi’ and ‘Baahubali’. So henceforth I want to choose stories that I get the opportunity to hold the hero and dance with him.”
