Mr. Nookayya Success Meet

Rocking star Manoj Manchu’s ‘Mr Nookayya’ with Kriti Karbanda and Sana Khan as heroines was directed by Ani and produced by D S Rao on Sri Sailendra Cinemas banner. The film opened in theaters worldwide yesterday. On the eve of the success talk all over, a success meet was organised today by the unit members.

Manoj while speaking, “The efforts of the entire unit members is the reason for the success of ‘Mr Nookayya’. We are all very happy with the film’s success. Rajasekhar camera work, Naveen’s editing and Lakshmi Bhupal’s dialogues entertained the audience. I appreciate Kriti Karbanda for her daring act in an action scene which she performed along with me. We felt sad when we heard that the film was stopped in few theaters yesterday and today. We learnt that they have come all the way from Delhi to stop the film. But in reality we have not used the Nokia company brand name anywhere in the film. Nookayya is the name of the God of our village, hence we chose it as our title. There is a lot of difference between the two names Mr Nokia and Mr Nookayya. Therefore I request the company authorities to realize the difference between the two names.”

Director Ani said, “We are happy to note that tremendous response for Mr Nookayya from all 400 theates that it got released. The success is due to technical aspect of the film. Manoj’s action scenes are highlights. We thank the audience for making the film such a huge success.”

Heroine Kriti Karbanda said, “We are very happy to see such a huge response all over for Mr Nookayya. Manoj’s action scenes are amazing. Raja’s action is superb.”

Lakshmi Bhupal, Raja and Samraat also expressed their happiness over the film’s success.
