Current Theega Platinum Disc

The platinum disc function of Manchu Manoj’s high voltage action entertainer ‘Current Theega’ was organized on 29th of October at Narayanamma Engineering College in Hyderabad. Manchu Vishnu has produced the film under his booming production house 24 Frames Factory with Dr. Mohan Babu as presenter. Rakul Preeth Singh and Sunny Leone have played the female lead roles in the film which is directed by G Nageswar Reddy. Jagapathi Babu has played a key role. Achu has composed the music. Recently the film has completed the censor formality. We all know that the people’s lives in Uttarandhra region have been devastated by Hudhud cyclone. Therefore a song that belongs to Hudhud cyclone penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and composed by Achu was also released on the same stage. Professor Ramachandra Reddy, Santha Biotix Varaprasad Reddy and Dr. M Mohan Babu have graced the event and handed over the platinum disc to the film unit.

Speaking at the event, Dr. M Mohan Babu said, “I like Narayanamma Engineering College very much. We too have one Engineering College and it is at 6th place in our country. We won’t allow middies, tights, cell phones etc. to the college. You have to learn where and how to use cell phones. Vizag was devastated by cyclone. We have to do our bit to support the people in Vizag. I talk frankly. Manoj did very hard work for the film. Nageswar Reddy has moulded the film wonderfully. Manod has introduced Achu to the Telugu audience. We have postponed the release date of ‘Current Theega’ to 31st of October due to Hudhud cyclone.”

Manch Manoj said, “I have good relationship with Narayanamma College since 2003. We are releasing our ‘Current Theega’ on October 31st. We all are aware the disaster that happened to Vizag because of nature’s violent eye. Everyone should respond and do their bit to the people in Vizag whose lives have been devastated. We must visit Vizag atleast one time.”

Director Nageswara Reddy said, “It’s a good film that is sure going to leave the audience in splits.”
