Ramaiya Vastavaiya Press Meet

Prabhu Deva’s new Bollywood directorial venture ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiyya’ starring Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan as lead pair is getting ready for release on 19th. As part of promotional event a trailer was released in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Later a press meet was held where Prabhu Deva, Girish Kumar and Dilip Tandon participated.

Prabhu Deva said, “It was producer Kumar Taurani who approached me to direct the Hindi remake version of ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’. But he was not aware that I’m the original director of the film and did not believe when I said. Later he once again saw the movie titles for the confirmation. The bonding between brother-sister, father-son and mother-child is same everywhere. That’s the reason these kind of films are universally accepted. I’ve been presently doing successful movies in Bollywood. But the main base is Telugu film industry because I started my film career only here.”

Girish Kumar said, “Prabhu carved my character as Ram in a very pleasing manner. I’m sure everyone will like my character and the movie.”
