Saahasam Trailer Launch

The trailer of Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s ‘Saahasam; starring Gopichand and Taapsee in lead roles was launched today in Hyderabad. BVSN Prasad is producing the film on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra India Pvt Ltd. Bhogavalli Bapineedu is the presenter.

Soon after the trailer launch, Gopichand said, “I’m doing ‘Sahasam’ after a gap of one year. I liked the storyline which Yeleti narrated to me. But he was not sure whether to do the film or not. Later I encouraged him saying that the story is different and good and that we should do. We shot the film in Ladakh for a month. I had to put in lot of efforts for the shooting. But the trailer indicates that we got the positive result for the hardwork we have put in. Prasad garu supported us. Reliance Sridhar is cooperating very well. I liked the movie while watching the movie during dubbing. Sri’s background score is excellent. I’m sure the movie will be a huge hit. I learnt horse-riding for this film.”

Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti said, “Everyone is appreciating the trailer. It’s since long time I’ve seen a film in this genre. No movie in this genre has come in the past 15 years. I did this film keeping action with Gopichand in mind. Shooting in Ladakh was like a cricket match in Pakistan. The entire movie is on 1947 backdrop. Shakti Kapoor is the main villain. It’s a complete fantasy film based on Shakti Peeth in Pakistan.”

BVSN Prasad said, “Chandrasekhar narrated the story like a film. When the question of budget raised, I asked Chandu to do the film just by focusing on the story. He carried the film on his shoulder. It will definitely be a good film. Audio will be released shortly.”

Bhogavalli Bapineedu and Sridhar also spoke at the trailer launch function.
